Trying to wire an FM Modulator, but the ends don't fit together?
That's because most late model vehicles don't use standard "Motorola" ends on their antenna cable anymore. To get the job done, you need a PAIR of adaptors.
One of the adaptors converts the plug on the end of your antenna cable to a standard male Motorola end, which is exactly what the input of your FM Modulator requires.
The other adaptor converts the output plug of your FM Modulator, which is a male Motorola end, back to the type of end that your car's radio accepts.
You get a snug fit with no loss of signal due to improper or mismatched connections! |
Perfect when adding an FMDA25 or other FM Modulated device to your stock radio. The first plug converts the mini jack on the end of your GM antenna cable to a standard male motorola end, matching the input on your FM modulator. The second plug converts the standard male motorola output of your FM modulator back to a GM mini plug, which is necessary for returning the antenna signal into the back of your GM radio.
